Place your phone side-on, keep your full body and racket in frame, and record one serve, forehand or backhand at a time.
Practical help for recording, analysing and improving your strokes with TennisLens.
Place your phone side-on, keep your full body and racket in frame, and record one serve, forehand or backhand at a time.
Choose a short video from your photo library. A 5 to 15 second clip with one visible stroke gives the clearest analysis.
Your overall score combines the movement phases shown in the detailed breakdown. Open each metric to see the coaching cue behind it.
Open your iPhone Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Select TennisLens to review, change or cancel your plan.
Clips are sent for analysis and discarded afterwards. Your saved analysis history stays on your device.
Use good light, avoid zooming, keep the camera still and make sure no other player crosses the frame during the stroke.
Most recording and analysis issues can be solved without reinstalling the app.
Open iPhone Settings, select TennisLens and enable Camera, Microphone and Photos. Return to the app and try again.
Check your connection, shorten the clip and try again. If the video is stored in iCloud, wait for it to finish downloading to your phone first.
Use a clip with one player, one stroke and the full body visible throughout. Re-record from a stable side-on angle if joints leave the frame.
Confirm that you are signed into the Apple ID used for purchase, then reopen TennisLens. If access is still missing, contact us with the date of purchase. Do not send payment card details.
Use the reset option in the app if available, or delete TennisLens from your device. Local history is removed when the app data is deleted.
Send us the stroke type, your iPhone model and a short description of what happened. Moon Shard support normally replies within two business days.
