These terms govern your use of the Munchr iOS application ("the App"), published by Moon Shard Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Munchr, you agree to these terms. For our studio website terms, see the Moon Shard website terms.
Munchr is a recipe and cooking app that provides fridge-aware recipe suggestions, recipe importing, pantry tracking, and a personal cookbook. The App is provided "as is" and we continuously improve its features.
You do not need to create an account to use core features. Some features, such as syncing across devices, may require sign-in via Apple. You are responsible for the security of your device and associated accounts.
Free tier. Munchr offers a free tier with core functionality.
Munchr Premium. Additional features are available through a paid subscription, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.
When you import a recipe by pasting a URL, Munchr extracts the content for your personal use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save content you import. Imported recipes are stored in your personal cookbook and are not shared publicly.
We do not claim ownership of imported recipes. Content remains the intellectual property of its original creator.
You retain ownership of all data you enter, including pantry items, saved recipes, and preferences. Our use of your data is governed by the Munchr Privacy Policy.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@moonshard.co. Data is removed within 30 days.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use it for any unlawful purpose; attempt unauthorised access to our systems; redistribute or resell the App or its content.
Recipes and nutritional information, whether curated or imported, are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability. Munchr is not a substitute for professional dietary, medical, or nutritional advice.
If you have food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions, always verify ingredients independently. AI-extracted recipes from imported content may contain errors or omissions.
The App, its design, code, curated recipe content, illustrations, and branding are the intellectual property of Moon Shard Ltd.
We aim to keep Munchr available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may release updates that change, add, or remove features.
We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable notice. In such a case, we will provide a way for you to export your data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moon Shard Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You may stop using the App by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms. Provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, and governing law survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
EU users. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
US users. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. You retain all rights under applicable state consumer protection laws.
These terms are between you and Moon Shard Ltd, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Munchr. In the event of any failure to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms.
Material changes will be communicated through the App or on this page.
